'Directive-Bolkenstein by the wayside'
the principle of the directive was not
 acceptable (...)

Today (Nov 2006) a much reduced `Bolkenstein-directive' is pushed through, which does not allow for people to work in areas with better social laws, for the conditions local to the headquarters of the company. The obvious attempt was: every big business puts their headquarters in an area with low grade social laws, and can then let workers share even less in the profits of the business they work in, wherever in the "European Union" (of corrupt finance) that may be.
